Moody girl

I woke up this morning in such a mood. As I went through the day I felt it was just progressively getting worse. As I sit here at 4:15 pm in the afternoon I can honestly say it’s gotten a lot better. Even earlier when I made my video for the day I said I wasn’t in a good mood. It was just one of those moody days.

I still woke up grateful and thanked God for the new day. Even after slamming my wrist into a window causing my wrist to swell up and see stars. I was able to get the internet to finally work with the help of the technician that came to the house. He helped me with hooking up my Mac book and everything. It was such a help on a day that was just not going well.

Even just chatting with the guy was helpful we spoke about Japan and how I should definitely go visit. 😂

So I say again just because your day might start out moody or crappy, be grateful. It is through the grateful heart that God changed my day.

I even was yelling at God this afternoon, after slamming my wrist. I was like oh it’s pick on Emma today. lol it was a joke and I really didn’t think it was going to change anything and yet here I am grateful for the better mood.

I think sometimes letting out your frustrations out to God as if He is there with you, even if you think He might not be listening, you find out soon enough He is always listening. So have a little faith and just chat with Him. Tell Him your frustrations, tell Him how you feel, let Him know everything and you might be surprised when He does answer.

I hope everyone has a beautiful blessed day.

For me.

Describe your most memorable vacation.

I don’t have memories so it’s hard to say. I don’t actually remember and to compare them to what I have done recently wouldn’t be fair. So I would rather describe what my favorite getaway would be like.

Vacation time is the best spent relaxing. Not running around through a park or museum or anything like that. For me spending time doing nothing but enjoying time with family or outside is the best.

The last few days I have gotten to enjoy a mini vacation. I didn’t go anywhere fancy but waking up late was awesome. Sleeping late, drinking coffee on the porch, chatting with my mom and dad was absolutely divine.

That’s what I call a good vacation.

Deal with it

Have you ever had surgery? What for?

Oh yeah I have had so many. Let’s see I have had a face lift, lip fillers, boob lift, butt lift liposuction but who hasn’t right? Nah I haven’t had any of that stuff done.

We have all had surgeries, life before surgery and life after surgery. Too many to name but probably the most painful one was my back surgery.

Probably it was because even after the surgery I still have a lot of pain. I have just learned to make myself stronger and deal with it. I don’t depend on drugs to take the pain away. Sometimes one just has to learn to tolerate the pain. Once it has become part of you the pain doesn’t overwhelm you.

I am not giving advice on to deal with your pain, I am merely saying how I deal with pain. Like the saying goes what doesn’t kill you will only make you stronger.

It’s a big scary world out there filled with a lot of pain, hate, anger and just plain evil. You have to learn to be strong and better than that. You can do it my strength comes from God. I hope today you find your strength and don’t allow the world or aches and pains hold you down. Life is too short and beautiful to not embrace the beauty in life. Have a good one. ~Emma~

My Moms laugh

Describe one of your favorite moments.

One of my favorite moments is definitely when I am laughing with my mom. I am talking about those moments when you are both laughing so hard your belly starts to hurt and feel like you are about to pee on yourself. She has such a good laugh and watching her laugh makes me light up. It’s one of the most beautiful moments you can share with your mother and I love it every single time. I am one of the lucky ones that gets to still enjoy that. I am incredibly grateful for that. God has truly blessed me with her.

Memorial Day Weekend

As we go forth this Memorial Day weekend on the many bbq around in the States, with everyone enjoying time with the fam. Don’t forget to take time out to remember the men and women that have died for this great country.

I know many may feel that America is on a decline. This might be true morally, our country has been invaded by this Marxist ideology being pushed in schools and pretty much everywhere.

With that said I still have hope for this beautiful country. I pray God will hear the prayers of the patriots that pray for the healing of this great nation. That we can come together as Americans in the belief like our founders did. Give me freedom or give me death.

So on this weekend as you celebrate please remember those that did just that. To give you freedom they faced death. Shedding their blood for the American people, for the American dream. No matter what the color of your skin, no matter that background anyone can make it. May God bless the members that have lost family fighting for our freedom. Bless the men and women that have all paid the ultimate price to give us the freedoms we take for granted.

On reflection I hope many will think about what we take for granted. Freedom isn’t free it is purchased by the sacrifice of someone else.

Jesus Christ died for our freedom from this life and paid with His blood. The men and woman that died for our freedom in America paid with their lives. Never forget that.

I hope it is a blessed weekend and safe one.

God Bless the USA 🇺🇸

Journals

Do you have any collections?

I have a collection of journals. I started to write in my first diary at the age of 12. My mom was the one that bought me this little purple diary with a lock on it. After that she would buy me one for Christmas if I asked for one. I would ask for them because it depends how much I wrote. I know right now I have about 24 books. I have also a prayer book, a poem book, dream book, and my love book.

Love it

How do you feel about cold weather?

I absolutely love the cold. I not only sleep better in the winter but in the summer my room has to be 60 degrees while also using two fans. I want it cold, I want to be under my blankets so I can feel cozy. That is the best way to sleep so for me it’s the best.

Sabbath and reset

How do you balance work and home life?

It’s extremely exhausting but it must be done. If you work all the time and never take time for home life you will burn out. Home life is just as important as work life. Working from home I find that learning to make time for things around the house or even time for myself can be extremely hard. But it is something we all must learn to do and find balance. Saturday which is the Sabbath day, is my day to rest. From Friday night to Saturday night I turn off twitter and every single social media app. It helps me to focus on just being in the moment, spending time with God, reading scripture and listening to Christian music like Family Radio. I also enjoy playing with my team on the game. We play together, I listen to them on Voice Chat and it helps me to just not worry about what is happening outside in the world. Again I focus on resting and not stressing myself out. Though to some it might be waste of time but for me it absolutely resets me for the week. If I have a dog that is staying he chills with me. It is something that I feel really is something that everyone should do. No tv no social media just music to relax to. Listening to soft music praying reflecting being in that moment living in that moment. It truly feels good. But hey that’s just me.
