Taking time away

It’s been a busy week for me. Yesterday I felt like complete crap due to the migraine that took a hold of my brain. I went to bed at 9 pm just to see if I could get rid of it. Thank God I woke up without it this morning.

So on this Sabbath I am enjoying time with the family and in the Peace of the Presence of the Creator. Taking time each week to spend time in reflection or even just in the Presence of God has really helped me. I can’t explain it as much as I can tell you all to try it. It really does change your perspective.

Have a great day. ~Emma~

Dogs

What is your favorite animal?

My favorite animal by far is a dog. I know I am a little biased on this particular subject but I can’t help myself. Dogs love you no matter what. Treat them badly they love you, hurt them they love you, ignore them they love you.

As a dog sitter myself having dogs constantly coming and going makes me enjoy life. These dogs spend days or a day here but they remember.

I will be walking in the park with my sister and a dog I haven’t seen in months will pull his whole family to come see us.

They are such remarkable creatures. They absolutely with their complete heart and that is why I will always favor dogs.

I also believe dogs can sense evil. So again another reason to love your four legged bestie.

Doing good

One of the most annoying things about people during the holiday season is how selfish some people can be. They don’t even realize how selfish they are acting. They going around not helping others while they party, go to dinners, go shopping while others are working their asses off trying to get everything ready.

People constantly say it’s team work that gets the job done. But team work consists of you actually having to put in the work for the team. You deciding to walk away and complaining about stuff not getting done isn’t teamwork.

It’s this selfish attitude that really gets under my skin. Not only it’s not productive for anyone to advance. It frustrates the ones going out of their way to try and make life better.

If I can offer some advice don’t wait for someone to ask for help. Helping others not only helps the person you offer the help to but it helps your soul. Helping others is food for the soul. So during this season as we approach the giving season. Learn to give to others. Don’t expect anything from others, do it because you want to do it. If you’re incapable of doing that, well I can’t help you.

Have a good day. ~Emma~
